Welcome to the website for the 91st IFLA World Library and Information Congress! In the next months, up until and after the conference, this will be the space to watch for news, information and updates.
First up: read the Welcome Message from the UK National Committee, the outline of the Congress days, registration rates, and information on the venue and location—all linked in the page header above. Please be aware that the IFLA WLIC 2027 website is a work in progress that will grow and expand as more information is added over the coming months.
London 2027 will be a special congress to launch IFLA’s 100th anniversary celebrations. But even if such a big birthday would suggest particular emphasis on our past, the congress theme of “Knowledge Powering Futures” will instead lead delegates from around the world into discussions about the evolution of our field and our role in shaping it.
This is the perfect chance to experience international librarianship at a truly global scale, while boosting your own professional engagement with deep knowledge and meaningful connections.
